This website and the application
This policy covers the public afrimed.tech website. The app.afrimed.tech application has its own cookie settings. A choice on one site does not give consent on the other.
Necessary storage
When you save a choice, we use your browser’s local storage under the key afrimed_website_consent_v1. This single item remembers the decision and its date for up to one year. It contains no contact details, medical information or account identifier. This control does not set a tracking cookie.
The page URL determines the language, without a language cookie. Contact-form messages stay in the page while being entered and are not saved in local storage.
Optional technologies
No optional audience analytics, advertising, social tracking or personalisation tools are currently installed. Website images, fonts and scripts are served locally. Social buttons are ordinary links: an external site opens only when you choose it.
“Accept all”, “Reject all optional” and “Save my choices” record your decision; none activates an absent tracker. Any future optional technology must be listed here and remain off until you accept it.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use “Manage cookies” in the footer of every page to reopen preferences. You can reject optional technologies or withdraw your saved choice. Withdrawal removes the local-storage record and shows the banner again. Clearing browser data has the same effect. If the browser blocks storage, your choice cannot be remembered for a later visit.
Security and contact enquiries
The host processes technical information needed to serve and protect the site, including the IP address to limit form abuse. The form uses a temporary check held in memory, without a cookie or advertising profile. Only a deliberate submission sends your enquiry content to our email service. Our Privacy Policy describes general data handling and your rights.
